Library
Grief libraries are maintained at the Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles and at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in Cave Springs. Book subjects cover the spectrum from general grief books to those dealing with different types of death losses. Types of specific death issues would include the death of a child, death of a spouse, death of a parent, suicide, homicide, accident or sudden death, dealing with terminal illness, etc. Books may be checked-out by the public. You are welcome to come in and browse.
Professionals in need of research and scholarly materials are welcome to call Baue's Community and Grief Services at 636-940-1000. Baue maintains a current library of professional grief literature and videos, and educators, graduate students, clergy and grief counselors regularly draw upon these resources.
The Baue Flower and Gift Shop is an excellent resource for grief materials for yourself or as a gift for a relative or friend. In addition to some basic grief books and materials always in stock the Gift Shop maintains catalogs of hundreds of grief books on every topic and would be happy to find just the right book for your need. | |
