History

Our Legacy of Service

In 1935 Arthur C. Baue founded Baue Funeral Homes with the guiding principle of providing the highest level of quality, caring service to all families in our St. Charles community. Today, Arthur's granddaughter, Lisa A. Baue, and the entire Baue staff continue that legacy with a commitment to our growing community of families.

We understand that though the ways we may choose to say goodbye to our loved ones change with time, the need for helpful, caring and personal service remains the same. We are committed to providing the highest standards in quality, caring service at the best value to each family we serve -- before, during and after the death. More families have trusted us since 1935, than any other funeral or cemetery provider in St. Charles County. We strive to continue to earn that trust and confidence in the years ahead.

As the only funeral firm in St. Charles County with three convenient locations, our own private, on-premise crematory, and our own cemetery, St. Charles Memorial Gardens, the Baue family and staff can take care of the needs and wishes of every family, regardless of budget or type of service desired.
