Our service does not end with the funeral or cemetery service. It continues during the weeks and months ahead as families work through feelings of loss. Through our Grief Services, we help families for as long as they may need us.
The program was conceived in 1983 and helps families through the grieving process in the months following the loss of a loved one. Today it is one of the most comprehensive programs in the Midwest, offering family follow-up services, grief support groups, community and professional education programs and a lending library.
Kelly Karavousanos is our Continuing Care & Grief Support Director.

Kelly provides grief support to the families we serve and our community through individual and family counseling, grief support groups, grief education, informational seminars, and a grief resource library. Kelly is a Licensed Funeral Director and has her Masters Degree in Counseling from Lindenwood University.
She has studied at the Center for Loss and Life Transition in Fort Collins, Colorado, and has received certification in the area of Comprehensive Bereavement Care from the Center.
Kelly can provide helpful materials on grief, suggest other supportive resources you may need and familiarize you with our grief support programs.
