On Sunday, November 15, 2020, Phil Hoffmann, husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 77. Phil was born July 26, 1943 in St. Louis, Mo to Gerald, and Eileen Hoffmann. He was a proud member of Teamsters local 600 for many years. He was also the proprietor of "The Hill Bar and Grill" in St. Louis, MO until his retirement. He enjoyed a lot of good times with his family, and friends there. Phil will be remembered for making people laugh with his sharp wit, one liners, and his ability to make any story funny. Phil enjoyed cars, the St. Louis Cardinals, and auto racing. Phil also adored his dogs. The one thing Phil loved more than anything was his family. Phil was the oldest of four. He embraced the role of being the big brother. Always looking out for and feeling responsible for his younger siblings throughout his life. Phil was married to his loving wife Judy for 54 years. They were blessed with two sons, Michael, and Matthew. Phil was very proud of them, and enjoyed sharing some stories, and laughs with them. He also thought very much of his daughter in laws, both of whom he respected greatly, and enjoyed their company. He especially loved his 5 grandchildren. He was so proud of their accomplishments, and spending time with them. He couldn't be around them without smiling. He loved them all and felt blessed to be able to spend so much time with them. Phil loved his very close relationship with his siblings, their spouses, his nieces, and nephews. He loved sharing holidays, and family get-togethers with them. He also enjoyed a very close relationship with his cousins throughout his life. A relationship, that he cherished, and felt lucky to have.
Phil was preceded in death by his father Gerald, his mother Eileen, and his brother Rob.
Phil is survived by his wife Judy, their sons, and spouses. Michael, and Michelle Hoffmann, and Matthew, and Amanda Hoffmann. His five grandchildren; Philip, Luke, Molly, Jude, and Harper. His siblings and their spouses, Jerry and Joan Hoffmann, Mimi and Al Wise, his departed brother Rob's former wife Doris and Ken Burgherr. His nieces; Bridget, Jill, Katie, and Nora. His nephews; Kevin, Sean, James, and Robbie.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the

Alzheimer's foundation of America.
