Barbara B. Shuttleworth

Barbara ‘Barb’ Barteau Shuttleworth (74) of St. Charles 

Born September 30, 1948

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on January 1, 2023. 

She was preceded in death by her late husband James Shuttleworth (1940-1997), her brother Tom Koupal and sister Paula Cook. 

She leaves behind two daughters, Christine (Jeff) Graham of Houston, Texas and Nichole (Carla) Glosemeyer of Marthasville, MO and step-daughter Debbie (Craig) Outland of Arnold, MO, sister Ann Winkelmann, sister Jane Flanakin, and brother Mark (Nancy) Koupal, as well as four beloved grandchildren, Lindsey (Justin) Musgraves, Jason Graham, Amy (John) May and Jessie Outland and three great grandchildren Jaxon, Charlie, Ariana.  Loving Aunt, Great Aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Barb enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends.  She loved Cardinals Baseball and frequented the Muny and other community theaters. Devout Catholic and student of theology, she greatly enjoyed her time with her bible study friends. She loved the beach and had spent her final years traveling with her daughters and granddaughter.
