Elizabeth “Betty” Flick, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Gerald L. Flick; beloved daughter of the late Melvina and Ralph Borgmeyer; devoted mother of Barbara (Patrick) Hilsabeck, Thomas (Angie) Flick, and the late Rebecca Flick; cherished grandmother of Andrew Hilsabeck, Rebecca Hilsabeck, Bradley Flick, Brylie Flick, and Braydie Flick; dear sister of Jane (the late Gary) Smith, Marge (Don) Blevins, Mary (Bill) Hembrock, Laverne (the late Charlie) Mennemeier, and the late Ruth Borgmeyer, the late Donald (Joan) Borgmeyer, and the late William Borgmeyer.
Betty retired from Pundmann Ford after more than 30 years. She loved her family and spending time with them, especially playing card games with her sisters. She cherished her time with her grandkids and enjoyed playing games and putting together puzzles with them. She was a great Mom and took care of everything. She always made the holidays special with her Christmas cookies and party mix.
As a woman of faith, Betty was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality. She was very active and made pies and cakes for the parish picnic and sausage dinners.
Betty loved flowers and caring for them, and she enjoyed going to the Botanical Gardens. In her spare time she liked to play games on her computer or iPad. And, she had a funny file with all of her jokes printed out from over the years.
Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Bettys' name to St. Vincent de Paul at St. Peter Catholic Church.
Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
