Albert Louis Kelley, Sr., of St Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Rose M. Kelley; beloved son of the late Edward Lyndon and Louisa Kelley; devoted father of Amanda Kelley, Margaret (Brent) Gunter, and Albert Louis (Annquinette) Kelley, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Alexander Loren Lamont Kelley; brother-in-law of Ernest Brown. Albert is also preceded in death by his Son, Loren Edward Kelley; stepmother, Mozelle Kelley; and sister, Norma Brown. Albert leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Albert proudly served his country in the United States Army. He Retired from Central Hardware where he worked as a Lumberman where Albert was a proud member of Teamsters Local 682 and a proud member of the NAACP. He was also a proud member of St. John's AME Church in St. Charles. Albert was a big fan of western movies and enjoyed CB radio police scanners. Albert liked working with his hands in woodworking and on cars, he was a “Shadetree Mechanic.” Albert was very social, he never met a stranger and loved talking to people. Albert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
