Alvin J. Schroeder, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Audrey Ann Schroeder; dear son of the late Joseph F. and Katherine Schroeder; devoted father of Carol (Ken) Harvell; cherished grandfather of Kelly (Chris) Turgeon and Dawn Baxter; beloved great-grandfather of Alexandra Turgeon, Ethan Baxter, Charley Baxter, and Addison Turgeon. He is preceded in death by his siblings Victor Schroeder, Raymond Schroeder, and Dorothy Moxley-Seiffert.
Alvin retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to masses or St. Vincent DePaul Society of Immaculate Heart if Mary.
