Dearest husband of the late Emily Anna Accola; dear son of the late John and Marcia Accola; devoted father of Nancy (Richard) Engelhardt; beloved grandfather of John (Diana) Doroghazi and Michael Doroghazi; beloved step-grandfather of Stephen (Regina) Engelhardt and Jeffrey Engelhardt; beloved great-step-grandfather of Alex, Brandon and Joshua. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and his dear friend, Ruth Engelhardt. He is preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Alvin was a Draftsman at Granite City Steel, retiring in 1978. He was a member of Child of God Lutheran Church.
