Anna Ruth “Ann” “Meme” Shoemake

Shoemake, Anna Ruth "Ann" "Meme" (NEE: Dawson), of Bridgeton, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Robert "Almon" Shoemake, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Homer and Velma Dawson; devoted mother of Robert "Bob" Shoemake, Fred "Wayne" Shoemake, and Patricia "Patsy" (Pastor Jeff) Perry; adoring grandmother of Robby Tourville, Chanda (Brian) Vescovo, Chelsea Perry, Taylor Perry, Addison (Steve) Kowalik, and Kingston Perry; cherished great-grandmother of Dustin Sanfilippo, Summer Davis, Kaeli Davis, and Maurie Vescovo; dear sister of Charles Dawson and Mary Doris Edmonson. She is preceded in death by her sister, Marie Beck, and brother, Homer Tillman Dawson. Ann was employed as a measurer at Accu-Glass for 25 years. She was a spit fire who was "quick as a whip." Ann was non-judgmental and loved everyone equally and with great depth. Ann cared about the hungry. Any contributions you would like to give in her memory will be used to feed the less fortunate.
