Bernice Meyer

Bernice Meyer, of O'Fallon, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late Elroy Meyer; dear daughter of the late Henry and Laura Schneider; devoted mother of Donald (Susan) Meyer, Pamela (Edward) Glanz, William (Debra) Meyer, and Wendy (Donald) McCollom; cherished grandmother of Jeff, Lauren (Seth), Wil (Val), Corinne (Zack), Scott, Zach (Rita), Alex, and Jacob; treasured great-grandmother of Josie, Ben, Sophie, Claire, Camryn, and Ryan; and dear sister of Lillian Koch, Virginia Fetsch, the late Elmer Schneider, the late Alvin "Cotton" Schneider, and the late Eleanor Flesner.
Bernice was a dedicated member of Assumption Catholic Church for many years. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Hall, VFW, the Bowling Writers, and was in the St. Charles Bowling Hall of Fame. She was an avid bowler, even at 84 she was bowling three days a week. Bernice owned and operated the O'Fallon Bowl (for 55 years) and owned M&S Liquor Store in O'Fallon. She enjoyed playing golf, playing bridge with her friends, and was also known for her delicious pies, and was deeply loved by all who knew her.
