Beverly Kay Koop

Koop, Beverly K. (nee: Matthias), of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, died on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the age of 62. Cherished wife of Richard Koop; dearest daughter of Gladys Matthias and the late Matt Matthias; dear sister of Donna (Ray) Weihofen and William "Bill" (Karen) Matthias. Bev was a Special Needs Paraprofessional at the John Weldon Elementary school in the St. Louis area for almost 4 years and 4 years at the Country View Elementary school in Verona, Wisconsin. Her love for children was her passion in life and was finally able to share this during these last years. She received a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin (River Falls). ST CHARLES, MISSOURI SERVICES: Services: The family is being served by The Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 4:00-8:00 PM. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Road, Cottleville, Missouri. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
