Bob D. Durnil, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday October 11, 2016, at the age of 85. Loving husband of 61 years to Frances M. Durnil (nee: Stedem); beloved son of Beulah Caldwell; devoted father of Mark Durnil, Russ (Stacie) Durnil, and Neal Durnil; cherished grandfather of Fiona and Lola Durnil.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as an MP. He was a former police officer for Ladue Police Department. He owned a Texaco Service Station on Clayton Road in Ladue for more than 36 years. He adored spending time with his grandchildren, and coaching sports for his sons in his younger years. He also enjoyed taking care of his lawn with his John Deere tractor. Bob was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
