Carol Lucas

Carol Lucas of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late John Alan Lucas Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Marvin and Harriette Deising; devoted mother of Cyndi Lucas of St. Charles, MO, Patrick Lucas of West Hollywood, CA, Karen (Bill Damm) Lucas of Howell, MI, Trace Lucas of Geneseo, IL, Les (Cindy) Lucas of Colona, IL, Mike (Wanda) Lucas of Annawan, IL, and the late John Lucas Jr.; loving grandmother of Jayde, Ayla, Edie (Adam), Jane, Andy (Melanie), Nancy, Lily, Caylie (Zach), Levi (Jade), Joe, Austin, and Hunter; treasured great-grandmother of Goldie, Archer, Jaxtyn, and Addison; adored honorary mother of Steve (Debbie) Sanders; and dear sister of Kathryn "Dee" (Col. Robert Ret. USMC) Tschan, Marilyn Worrell, Lucetta "Lou" Crosse, Marvin "Marc" (Mary Lou) Deising, and Glenda "Scotty" (Mark) Raines. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carol was a member of the American Legion Post 312 Ladies Auxiliary, the Geneseo Moose Lodge 990. She loved cross-stitching and tatting. Carol was the best at solving puzzles of all kinds, quickly spotting the connecting pieces and being several steps ahead of others. She was an avid sports fan, proudly cheering on the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
