Catherine Patricia Barr

Catherine Patricia Barr (nee Buckley) of Dardenne Prairie, MO, passed away at the age of 85 on Sunday, March 17, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Buckley; her siblings, Margaret Kennedy, Jane Chiotti, John “Bud” Buckley, and Stephen Buckley; and her dear cousin Betty Ellen Baruzzini and her husband Gino.

Catherine is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Barr; her children, Donald (Lynne) Barr, Jr., Patricia (Jeff) Eister, and Daniel (Carol) Barr; her sisters, Betty Bryan and Joan (Rich) Huelsmann; her grandchildren, John (Danielle) Eister, Joseph Eister, Katie (Brad) Rice, Dustin Barr, Derek (Julie) Barr, Andrew (Caitlin) Barr, and Sarah Barr; and eight great-grandchildren.

Catherine was a graduate of Rosati-Kain, class of 1952, and a parishioner at Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic Church. In her free time, she loved to golf and belonged to ladies’ golf leagues at both the St. Andrew’s and Warrenton golf course. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Catherine was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
