Cecilia Marie Andres

Cecilia Marie Andres (nee: Russo), of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on August 10, 2017, at the age of 65. Loving wife of James E. Andres; beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Rita Russo; devoted mother of Matthew (Irene) Andres; cherished grandmother of Valentina and Gwen; and treasured sister of Madonna "Donna" (John) Mackey and Anthony "Tony" (Gayle) Russo. She is also survived by her beloved Maltese, Coco. Cecilia was also preceded in death by her infant brother, Peter Russo.
Cecilia was an administrative assistant at Schnucks for 23 years. She loved to dance, especially Latin, Salsa, and Swing dancing. She also enjoyed painting and tending to her plants. She devoted a lot of her time towards mentoring and tutoring children. Cecilia fought a courageous battle against cancer for 3 ½ years. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
