Constance “Connie” Scherer, nee Achelpohl, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017, at the age of 68. Cherished daughter of the late Alvin and Lois M. Achelpohl; devoted mother of Lauren (Lloyd) White and Ellen (Brandon) Swagman; treasured grandmother of Austin and Emma White and Anderson and Miles Swagman; dear sister of Rebecca Cleary, Ted (Nita) Achelpohl, Jeanne (Ed) Banovic, David Achelpohl, and honorary “sister” Nancy (Joe) Page; and beloved aunt and friend to many.
Connie was a devoted registered nurse for more than 48 years and most recently retired from SSM Health. Her greatest joy and the light of her life were her children and grandchildren. Connie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
