Curtis “Curt” Hunter

Curtis “Curt” Hunter of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away on Thursday March 1, 2018, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 69 years to Alta V. Hunter; cherished son of the late Marion and Della Hunter; devoted father of Bryan (Leslie) Hunter and Bruce (Mary Jo) Hunter; loving grandfather of Stephanie (Tim) Pilato, Brandon (Carly) Hunter, Bryan Hunter, Caitlin Hunter, and Sean Hunter; treasured great-grandfather of Landry, Micah and Josie; dear brother of Versa Tucker. Curtis is preceded in death by his siblings, Lorine Harris, Iva McElrath, Clara Cates, Tilford Hunter, Gilford Hunter, Marie Roehl, and Wanda Carter.

Curtis owned and operated Curt’s Barber Shop in Florissant, Missouri for 32 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially turkey hunting and trout fishing with his family at Bennett Springs. He was a “Mr. Fix-it” type and enjoyed keeping busy. Curtis was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
