Ernestine “Ernie” Ellis

Ellis, Ernestine “Ernie”, of St. Peters, MO, died on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Rev. John William Ellis; beloved daughter of the late Angus and Ella McDonald; devoted mother of P. Roger (Peggy) Ellis and mother-in-law of Barbara Ann Ellis; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Philip) Ridolfi, Bobby Joe Ellis, Doyle Edward Ellis, and Paula (Thomas) White; treasured great-grandmother of Alexis Ridolfi, Alexander Ridolfi, Katie Mae Ellis, Heather White, Ashley White, Jason White, and Stephen Dunlap. She is preceded in death by her son Joe Edward Ellis.

Ernie was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Bridgeton MO, and also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a seamstress for many years and enjoyed quilting, as well.
