George E. Hudson Sr.

 George Edward Hudson, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Mary E. Hudson; cherished son of the late Charles Sr., and the late Josephine Hudson; devoted father of Diane L. (Van Grossnicklaus) Hudson, Angela M. (Larry) Sontag, Julie L. (Tom) Quentin, George E. (Stacey) Hudson, Jr., and the late Linda G. Hudson; loving grandfather of Matthew R. (Hailey) Krechel, Andrea N. (Adam) Mahoney, Mark A. Krechel, Corryne M. Sontag, Michael A. (Kaitlyn) Quentin, Kelly L. Quentin, George W. Hudson, Harrison T. Hudson and Olivia G. Hudson; treasured great-grandfather of Kylie R. Krechel, Sammy M. Krechel, Colton M. Krechel, Maggie E. Mahoney, Braden Curry, and Charlotte Curry; dear brother of the Josephine A. Auffenberg, the late Charles L. Hudson, Jr., and the late David E. Hudson.

George was a man of faith which he instilled in his family, He was a devout member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church where he served as a lector for many years. George was the business owner of Hudson Chemical Company. which was established in 1929 by his father. He also owned St. Louis RV Park for over 30 years. He was very hardworking, but in his free time, enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time with family, always sharing a story or making them laugh. George was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George’s honor to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital or Catholic Charities.
