George H. “Rusty” Turner III

George Harrison Turner III, "Rusty", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the age of 59. Loving husband of Jamie Turner (née: Hollingsworth); beloved son of the late George Jr. and Lydia Turner; devoted father of Michelle Lyn "Missy" (Walter III) Walker, Julie Elizabeth (Eddie) Corbett, Matthew Harrison Turner, Andrew William Turner, and Leah Nicole Turner; cherished grandfather of Mya, Walter IV, Mason Walker, and Alyssa and Giovanni Corbett; dear brother of Georgia (Joe) Ellis and John Turner; he was also loved by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Gertrude Lavonne Hollingsworth and his niece Lauren Hollingsworth-Smith.
Rusty loved Hostess Twinkies and Dilly Bars. He liked to try his luck at the casinos, enjoyed fishing, and a good joke. He was a no-nonsense and straight-forward man, who enjoyed listening to The Beatles and classic rock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for his children's college fund, checks may be made to Jamie Turner.
