Greg Branstetter of St. Louis, MO passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the age of 36. He was a loving husband of Abby Branstetter and a beloved son of Jean Schell.
Greg was a kind, generous person who always put others before himself. He wanted to make people happy and always acted like a goofball making people laugh. He loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors. If he wasn't snowboarding, skateboarding, kayaking, hiking, or camping, he would be at music festivals enjoying his favorite music: techno and jam bands, especially The Grateful Dead. He loved his family and his dog Hunter. Greg and his wife Abby were friends for five years, dated for five years, and were married for nine months. They were best friends and soul mates. They planned to move to Montana, have two kids, and adopt a third.
Greg was a determined, hardworking man who had many goals. He completed two Master's degrees in Business and Marketing. He flipped houses, had rental properties, and was a real estate agent; he was extremely good at what he did. Greg always made things fun, and people were drawn to his positive personality. He had so many friends and touched the lives of many; he will forever be remembered and missed.
We plan to honor Greg's life at Assumption Church in O'Fallon, MO on Saturday, June 24th, with an 11am visitation followed by a 1pm Mass.
