James P. “Jim” Courtney III

Courtney III, James P. "Jim", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the age of 74. Loving husband of Bertha 'Bert' Louise Courtney (nee: Turner); beloved son of the late James P. II and Bertha A. Courtney; devoted father of Karen (Ray) Hayne, Lisa (Mark Veach) Courtney, James (Connie) Courtney IV, and Cathleen (Stephen) Casinger; cherished grandfather of Taylor, Tori, Brian, Aaron, Michael, Lindsay, Hannah, Suzanne, Rebecca, Karen, Aly, and Brook; treasured great-grandfather of Joseph, Bethia, Samuel, Kendal, and Reese; dear brother of Dorothy "Dolly" Morris; also survived by other relatives and a friend to very very many. Jim's hobby was tinkering and repairing small items like clocks, radios, bicycles, and etc. He was an avid Nascar Fan. Jim enjoyed thrift shopping and going to the lake, but most of all he loved his family.
