James R. “Jim” Nelson

Nelson, James R. 'Jim', of Saint Charles, MO, died on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the age of 78. Loving husband of the late Sharon L. Nelson; beloved son of the late Lillian and Norm Vinyard; devoted father of Karl "Keith" (Rene) Nelson, Kimberly (Steve Vertrees) Olson, and Randy (Erin) Nelson; cherished grandfather of Corey, Sean, Michael, Tony, J.D., Bryce, and Cami; treasured great-grandfather of Colton; dear brother of Gene Nelson.
Jim proudly served his country in U.S. Army. He enjoyed watching his vhs movies especially Westerns. He taught the adult volleyball education class in St. Charles for a number of years. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
