Jerry Thomas

Gerald Thomas, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the age of 88. Loving husband of 65 years to Rosemary Thomas; beloved son of the late Paul and Hazel Thomas; devoted father of Terry L. (Jim) Colter, and Judy (Jim) Korte; cherished grandfather of Richard (Brenda), Jerry (Krista), and Bill (Denise) Colter, Matthew (Nicki), and Michelle (Tim Loftus) Korte; treasured great-grandfather of Jesse, Kailee, J.T., Joe, Blake, Amanda, Brittney, and Kasey; dear brother of Paul David (Frances) Thomas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayman Thomas and sister, Carol Wilkerson.

Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Jerry was a member of the American Legion. He was a hardworking man, Jerry worked for over 40 years with Lever Brothers and only missed two days of work. He loved all sports, Jerry especially loved to watch St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, and Mizzou football. Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
