Loving husband of Doris Holmes; beloved son of the late Arlice and Effie Holmes; devoted father of Steve (Debbie) Akers, Larry (Kay) Holmes, and Linda (Mike) Price; cherished grandfather of Andrew (Sarah) Akers, Lauren Akers, Rachel Holmes, Sara Holmes, Erika Holmes, Jamie (Tim) Ehrhart, and Jessica (Jemarrio Dial) Buchek; treasured great-grandfather of 8; dear brother of Melva McLeod, Bobbie (Larry) Hollis, and Marlene (Vernon) Lutrell.
