Joan F. Berry

Joan Frances Berry, nee Vaughn, was born on Sept. 1, 1931 in Pacolet, N.C. Joan was married to Robert E. Berry for 53 years before his passing in 2006. She was a member of First United Methodist, in St. Charles, for over 50 years. Joan was first a homemaker, then a librarian with the Kathryn-Linneman Branch Library.

Joan is survived by two brothers: James (the late Yvonne) Vaughn of Colorado Springs, CO, and Don (Mary Kay) Vaughn of Lakeland, FL; one sister: Janis (Jerry) Moore of Lexington, SC; three sons: Robert E. Jr. (Irene) of O’Fallon, MO, Stephen A. (Karen) of Willeston, NC, and Gregory L. (Teresa) of St. James, MO; one daughter: Marjorie E. Reiser of Galesburg, IL; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E.; two sisters: Margie Vaughn and Miriam McAllister of Texas; and her parents James and Etheleen Vaughn or Columbia, SC.
