John Potts, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the age of 76. Dear husband Therese "Terry" Potts (nee: Cook); dear son of the late Frank A. and Gertrude Potts; devoted father of Michelle (Jim) Anderson, Therese (Scott) Jorgenson, and William (Stacey) Potts; cherished grandfather of Paul, Kyle, Caleb, Alex, Daniel, Elise, Cody, Andrew, and Alyson; and dear brother to six. He is preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
John was a Purchasing Agent at Ferro Magnetics for many years before he retired. Once retired, he enjoyed working part time at O'Reilly Auto Parts. John also enjoyed fishing, reading, and bowling. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
