Leland D. Johnson

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Johnson, Leland D., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the age of 84. Dear Son of the late Ed and Clara Johnson of Piggott, Arkansas. Devoted husband of the late Blanche B. Johnson (nee Presley); loving father of Carl E. Johnson and Jennifer Pierce; and loving Grandfather of Karen Pierce. Dear Father-in-law of Jeff Pierce. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Merrel, and Vernon Johnson and sisters, Nelda Settlemoirs and Edna Underwood . He entered the U.S. Navy during WW II and retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service. He later located in St. Louis, Missouri and retired from McDonnell-Douglas after 25 years. Services: The Family is being served by The Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 28, 2008 at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel. Interment St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society .
