Maizie Roegner, 70, of Lake St. Louis, died at her home surrounded by her family on August 1, 2012. Maizie was married to the late Darrell Roegner. She is survived by her two daughters, Christine Eastvold (Edwin A.) of Foristell and Dr. Gretchen Moorman (Daniel S.) of Kirkwood. She also is survived by four grandchildren, Alex and Mackenzie Eastvold, Luke and Molly Moorman her sisters Maxine Chilton of Merritt Island, Florida and LaDonna (Jim)Tucker of Glendale, Arizona, her brothers Gary (Elois) Allan of Lawrence, Kansas, and Glendall (Carolyn) McNabb of Theodosia, Missouri. Maizie was born to the late Norman B. Allan and Dola M. McNabb of Flat River, Missouri. She was born, January 29, 1942 in Ironton, Missouri. Maizie graduated from Flat River High School in 1960 where she enjoyed playing volleyball and cheerleading. After high school, Maizie moved to St. Louis and attended Miss. Hickey Business School. Maizie married Darrell Roegner in 1963 and moved to Columbia, Missouri. After two years in Columbia, Maizie and Darrell moved to Lake St. Louis where she was active in the community. Maizie enjoyed sports, golf, and traveling, especially the many trips she shared with her family to Florida, Hawaii, and Colorado. However, her true pride and joy in life was her family. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Theodore's Catholic School Flint Hill Missouri Tuition Assistance Program.
