Clayton, Margaret Claire Tanner, was born 1 of 11 children to the late Frank and Rosa (nee: Haselbacher) Bognar on Oct. 10, 1937 in St. Louis, MO. Margaret was retired and enjoyed working in her flower garden, taking long walks, swimming and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping children with their reading skills in Parkway School District. Margaret was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Survived by her husband Arbin Clayton, by her friend and father of her children Eugene Tanner Sr., daughter Karen Goodpaster, son Gene (Deborah) Tanner, and daughter Melissa (David) Hauk. Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher and Geoffrey Goodpaster, Bethanie and Brandon Tanner, and Daniel and Jessica Hauk. She is also survived by her siblings, John (the late Lorna) Bognar, Ann (Jim) Rosswog, Lou (Jeanette) Bognar, Bob (Virginia) Bognar, Nick (Beverly) Bognar, and Bill (Sandy) Bognar, and sisters-in-law Ann Bognar and Betty Bognar. She is also a beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Frank Bognar Jr., Adolph (Yvonne) Bognar, Joseph Bognar, and Dick Bognar.
