Marianne Fern Beck

Marianne Fern Beck (nee Kirkland), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Louis Christopher Beck, III; beloved daughter of the late William Glenn and Anna Mae L. Kirkland; devoted mother of Cherie Beck, Wendy (Jeff) Johnson, and Wayne (Mary Hines) Beck; cherished Nana of Devin & Mitchell Johnson, Katie (Sean) Schuler (nee Beck), and Kyle (Nicole) Beck; and Great-Nana of Easton & one on the way; dear sister of Sunny (Jim) Shy; and is also survived by Judy Fuhrman and many other extended family & friends.

Marianne was very active with their church, St. John UCC, St. Charles. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Marianne was director of the Affton sixth grade program for Camp Mo-Val for many years and was also a Brownie & Boy Scout Leader. She worked for the Affton School district for many years. Her grandkids were her world, Marianne and Louis loved to spoil them. She liked to bake cookies and dye Easter Eggs, with her grandkids. Marianne loved to travel and spend stretches of time in Fort Meyers Beach, Florida, and enjoyed when the family would come to visit. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marianne's name to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
