Mario Battocletti

Battocletti, Mario M., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Mildred V. Battocletti (nee: Tanner); devoted father of Mario Louis (Sharon M.) Battocletti, Deborah Ann (David) Bagot, Ronald Eugene (Mary) Battocletti, Diana Lynn (Al) Coffman, and Yvonne Marie (Joe) Altic; cherished grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 17; and dear brother of Raymond Battocletti, John Battocletti, and Mary Ellen Adams. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis G. and Elvera Battocletti (nee: Larcher), and two brothers Louis and Joseph Battocletti. Mario was a chef for 54 years. In his earlier years, he worked at The Chase Park Plaza and Ruggeri’s to name a few. Mario was the owner of Mario’s Restaurant in Bellefontaine Neighbors, as well as the Executive chef for the Federal Reserve Bank, where he retired. He was also a very proud member of Chef de Cuisine, and a member of the VFW Post 2365 in Jennings, Missouri. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
