Mildred N. Odle

Odle, Mildred N., of Catawissa, Missouri, died on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the age of 94. Beloved daughter of the late Ralph G. and Abby Nichols; beloved mother of Mary Ann (Ed) Frye and Michael Odle; treasured grandmother of Kristen M. (Rob) Brown, Kendra J. (Jeff) Young, Clayton E. Frye, Kathleen A. Frye, Michael L. Odle, and Matthew A. Odle; treasured great-grandmother of Megan, Jessica, Kayleigh, Allysun, and Abigail. Mildred is also survived by nephews and nieces, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Samuel Irving Nichols, her sister Mary Schierding, and her brother David Nichols.
Mildred proudly served her country in the United States Navy from 1944-1945 as a Gunnery Instructor. She then went on to work as a Secretary at First Presbyterian Church for many years. Mildred enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends, watching game shows, and putting jigsaw puzzles together, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
