Rebecca “Becky” Snyder

Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Snyder (nee Boschert), of Portage Des Sioux, MO, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at the age of 48. Beloved wife of the late Paul Edward Snyder; cherished daughter of Claude and Nancy Boschert; devoted mother of Brittany Nicole Snyder, Travis Edward Snyder, and Owen Remington Snyder; dear sister of Cindy (Greg) Dahm, Craig (Renee) Boschert, and Susie (Tim) Snyders; loving aunt of Adam Dahm, Brian Dahm, Clare Dahm, Caleb Boschert, Curtis Boschert, Tyler Snyders, Kyle Snyders; mother-in-law, Ida Snyder, and her family. Preceded in death by father-in-law, Edward “Butch” Snyder, and many cherished extended family members.




Becky was loved by all her extended family, aunts, uncles, and cousins alike. She had an extremely special relationship with her cousin Dawn (Jim) Boerding, and their children Zach, Andrew, and Ellie. Becky also had a close circle of friends that she seemed to make each feel special.




Becky had a kindhearted, giving nature that was infectious within our community. She was a lifelong member and then leader of the Point Prairie 4-H Club. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish where she was instrumental in starting the PSR Program. She would often look for a way to help and provide for others. Becky shined a bright light in this world. Rest easy. We love you to the moon and back.




Becky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
