Rebecca L. Quinn

April 1, 1955 — March 18, 2019

Our dear Becky has gone to sleep for now and our loss of this beautiful one will cut deep into our hearts. The impact she had on all of us will be her legacy and our consolation. She asked me not to dwell on her and her life when I would have to write this.

Rebecca L. Quinn (nee VanDerWegen) of Florissant, MO, departed her loved ones on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the age of 63. It would be impossible to summarize her life with words. If you knew her then enjoy all the words that come to your mind and enjoy those cherished moments of life shared with her. Becky wanted everyone to know this one point to all of us who read this, she loved all of us so very much and tried her best to show that love every day.

She devoted many love filled moments throughout the years as a wonderful wife and very best friend to John J. Quinn Jr.; mom to Chris (Lisa) and Meghan (Jeff), stepmom to John lll (McKenzie) and Ben; grandmother to John lV, Jackson, Maddison, Kenna, Ainslee, Cambrin, Emma and Gillian.

Her love for her childhood and the family she grew up with was constant. Her sister Charlotte (Tom) and brother David (Wendy) know that love well, as well her parents Jeannette and the late Raymond. Those who became family as the family grew thru marriage and children know how much she embraced each one of you and could not wait to spend time together with all her family, especially camping. If you were a friend or even have just a brief introduction to her, she would have a lasting impression on your life.

Becky was a rare treasure among all of us. Her life is full of love for us all. Her genuine interests are best summed up with the impact she had with everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Becky simply made everyone around her happy. It was effortless and yet she would continue to strive anything to try her best to contribute to the benefit of others. Her achievement throughout her life is the best achievement anyone could have, she was loved by everyone who met her, she was loved by our God, Jehovah. Everyone who knows Becky will smile with every memory of her. What greater legacy is there than this?

We will have an empty feeling not having her with us for now. How we will miss her smile, her bright face even when she was going thru dark moments in life. She never gave up and encouraged us with beautiful expressions when she saw opportunity to be there for us. Becky set a wonderful example for all of us to follow. Let's remind ourselves of this gift to us all and look forward to her return in the resurrection. Jn. 6:40
