Ware, Richard Charles “Dick,” of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at the age of 85. Loving husband of the Betty E. Ware; beloved son of the late Charles F. and Anna E. Ware; devoted father of Richard C. (Ruth) Ware, Jr., Brenda M. (Duane) Telle, Deelena B. (David) Brand; cherished grandfather Duane (Toni) Telle, Richard Telle, Paul (Julie) Telle, Anna (Steve) Hedges, Renee (Joey) Oliver, Isaac (Violet) Grindle, Bryan (Stacy) Brand, and Teela Brand; treasured great-grandfather of eight; dear brother of Gladys Christopher and Linda Jordan; loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Sanders, son, Steve Ware, and great-grandson, Richard Telle.
Dick was born in Maine and moved to Missouri in 1965. He had a love for life. Dick was the head usher and deacon at Harvester Baptist Church. He loved bible study, going to bible study class, and talking about Jesus. He started working as a carpenter with his father as a boy. Dick was a lifelong member of the Carpenter’s Union Local #97. He worked in Hospital Administration for over 30 years and was the hospital administration of Normandy Osteopathic Hospitals until he retired. Dick was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
