Robert A. Hawk of St. Peters, MO, born in St. Louis, MO on July 21, 1941, passed away on August 16, 2017 at the age of 76.
He is survived by his loving mother Agnes M. Briscoe of Robertsville, MO, his ever-loving wife Katherine E. (Gibbons) Hawk for 56 years, 4 months, 1 week, and four days; his beloved daughters Katherine (David) Lewis and Janet (James “Greg”) Rhoden; his sister Linda (Robert) Gladney of Elsberry, MO; his grandchildren Christopher (Karen) Lewis, Matthew (Beth Barcum) Lewis, Joshua (Melissa Ortbals) Lewis, Elijah (Abigail) Lewis, Katherine “Nikki” Lewis, James (Beth Tyrrell) Rhoden, Erin (Jesse) Hodges, and Samantha Rhoden. Great-grandpa to Bobby, Lucy, Amelia, Logan, Nevaeh, Levi, Wren, Shelby, and Colt. He was also a brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Robert was preceded in death by his Pops, Billy Bob Briscoe.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1960-1964. He was an avid bowler and coach who bowled a perfect game on December 12, 1999. He was also a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Bob was also a member of the St. Charles County Sherriff Reserve for many years acquiring the rank of Lieutenant. Bob retired as a truck driver after spending many years behind the wheel. He will be remembered for his social and loving personality. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
