Smyth, Robert J., of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Anna P. Smith; beloved son of the late Emmett and Pearl Smyth; devoted father of Pamela Buthe, Mike (Sandy) Smyth, Pat Smyth, Shawn Smyth and Mary (Clyde) Jaycox; cherished grandfather of 20; treasured great-grandfather of many; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Sandra.
Robert was an All-American guy whose interests included Cardinals Baseball, Budweiser Beer, playing cards with his wife. He was an Aircraft Enthusiast and worked for 39 years at McDonnell Douglas.
