Ruth Ann Garner

Ruth Ann Garner, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the age of 75.  Beloved daughter of Genevieve Garner and the late Lloyd Garner; dearest sister of Joyce (the late Bart) Lammers and Robert Garner; cherished aunt of Deborah (John) Pezold, Eric (Tracy) Lammers, and Bryan Lammers; treasured great-aunt of Taylor Phillips (Marvaughn Lewis), Kayla Pezold, Kyle Pezold, Klayton Pezold, Kristine Pezold, Anika Lammers, and Alyssa Lammers; and dear great-great aunt of Kylo Lewis.

Ruth retired from the Brown Shoe Company after more than 35 years with their accounting department.  She truly enjoyed her job and going to work every day.

Ruth played softball when she was younger, and she played on the company softball team. She enjoyed being outdoors, rather than cooped up in the house. She liked to go fishing on the river and at Busch's Wildlife.  She was an excellent wild mushroom hunter and enjoyed working in the  flower gardens around the house.  Ruth also enjoyed cooking and baking, and she made some of the most wonderful dishes.

Ruth loved spending time with her friends and family up at the Duck Club.  She was always a happy person and really loved playing with her nieces and nephews and taking places.  Ruth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to the American Stroke Association or American Heart Association.
