Stella F. Richards

April 15, 1935 — December 6, 2018

Stella F. Richards, of Bridgeton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the age of 83.  Loving wife of the late Leemon O. Richards; beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Hattie Crader; devoted mother of Michael (Ellen) Richards and Regina (Joann) Richards; cherished grandmother of Craig Allen (Tiffany) Richards, John Michael (Melissa) Richards, and Richard Stecker; dear sister of Wanda Hall; dearest aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Stella was preceded in death by her siblings, James Crader, Linder Crader, Samuel Crader, Woody Crader, Hester Leadbetter, Irene Witner, Lorene Withers, Marjorie Lemons, and Marie Talley, Wanda Hall, Regina Richards.

Stella retired from Parkway School District after many years of serving in the lunchroom.  As a woman of faith, she was a devoted member of Victory Baptist Church where she cared for children as the nursery director.  In her latter years she attended Grace Church in Maryland Heights.  Stella cherished spending time with her family, and she was a terrific mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden to bring God’s beauty to life around her house.  In her spare time she liked to crochet and do needle work.  Stella was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
