Sylvia M. Ziegemeier

Sylvia M. Ziegemeier of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away at the age of 87 on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Ziegemeier; her sister, Lila Boschert; and her parents, Cornelius and Coletta Doerhoff.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Craig (Patricia) Ziegemeier, Scott (Joy) Ziegemeier, and Julie (Frank) Rose; her grandchildren, Bethany (Joshua) McNeely, Kelsy (Nicholas) Ziegemeier, Kenneth Ziegemeier, and Jessica Ziegemeier; and her great-granddaughter, Ruth McNeely.

She was a lifelong member of St. Peters Catholic Church and greatly enjoyed the community there as a part of the Saint Anne Sodality where she and her friends worked to live out their Christian faith through volunteer work.  Sylvia was involved in a number of other organizations such as the American Legion and often volunteered her time to assist with blood pressure screenings and other health screenings. Sylvia worked as a nurse for over 40 years before retiring. In her free time, Sylvia enjoyed playing a game of bridge or taking on a quilting project. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
