Thomas George Burrows

Burrows, Jr., Thomas George, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the age of 84. Loving husband of Marie Joan Burrows nee: Lott; beloved son of the late Thomas George Sr., and Ellen Elisabeth Burrows; devoted father of Deborah Ellen Oheron (Mark), Thomas G. Burrows III (Carol), Beth Ann Heckenkamp (James), Jeff Albert Burrows (Judy); cherished grandfather of six and great-grandfather of 1; dear step-father of 5 and step-grandfather of 8. He is preceded in death by his first wife Betty Ann nee: Boyer. Thomas was an Enlisted Cadet Reserve, Army Air Corps 1945 and was discharged in 1946. He graduated from Washington University in 1951 (BSME). Worked at Ramsey Piston Ring Company and then retired from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company in 1987. Thomas was a sailor, trout fisherman and golfer. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
