Thomas Grover Heath, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday January 27, 2019, at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Nellie Heath; beloved son of the late Grover and Florence Heath; devoted father of Dan (Julie) Heath, Sue (Dave) Salmo, and Mary (Mark) Maltenfort; dear brother of Maxine Tiesing and Lois (Bob) Callaway; cherished grandfather of Heidi (Kevin) Barrett, Marshall (Julie) Maltenfort, Miranda (Michael) Grant, Jacqueline Heath, Amy (Dave) Gorski, Erica (Shawn) Gallagher, and Tara Keddie; treasured great-grandfather of fourteen. Tom is preceded in death by his son Thomas Wayne, daughter Susan Lynn, three brothers, Bob Heath, Jack Heath, & Dick Heath; and two sisters, Pat Randazzo & Shirley Davis.
Tom proudly served his country with honor as a Seabee in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of VFW Post #2866 and Masonic Lodge #241 AF & AM. Tom liked to hunt and fish, and he enjoyed woodworking and making furniture. Most of all though, he loved spending time with his family, and will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, with an easygoing and caring nature. Tom was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
