Thomas M. Ring

Ring, Thomas M., 6/23/1935 – 1/08/2017, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, son of the late Thomas and Mary Ethel Hamilton Ring (Jacksonville, IL). Beloved husband of Carolyn (Cassani) for 52 years. Loving father of Michael (Carol Threlkeld), Cynthia “Cyndy” (Rick) Royer, Matthew (Nina Jo) Ring. Papa of Isabel Ring, Julia Threlkeld, Caleb and Tysen Royer, Nicholas and Reagan Ring. Brother/brother-in-law of Mary Helen (the late Roy) Tholen, the late Patricia (Bill) Barrow, the late Marge (J. Miles) Thomas, the late Katherine and the late Jack Yerkes, Sandra (Robert) Newby. Brother-in-law of Dennis (Maureen Ryan) Cassani. Uncle, great-uncle, godfather, cousin, and friend.

Tom was a graduate of Routt Catholic High School and Illinois College, both located in Jacksonville, IL. Tom also spent 4 years with the US Air Force. He worked for Dresser Industries for 25 years until retirement. He was also a member of Sts Joachim and Ann Catholic Church. He previously lived in Woodridge, IL and Salem, SC before moving to St. Peters, MO. Tom enjoyed playing golf and his part-time job with Schnuck’s Grocery in the Deli Department.

Tom will be cremated and interred at Jefferson Barracks at a later date.
