Virginia Dorothy Newell

Newell, Virginia Dorothy, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late George P. Newell; dear daughter of the late George and Jane "Jennie" Barge; devoted mother of George D. (Pat) Newell, Virginia "Ginger" (Robert) Fremont, Philip (Sally Kula) Newell, and Phyllis (Charlie) Thien; cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 5. Virginia was a loving aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many. She was a member of the Ritzy Ladies Red Hat Society. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. McAdam and the entire staff at Barnes Jewish St. Peters for their care and compassion. The family would also like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
