Wayne Myers

Wayne Myers of O’Fallon, Missouri, on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude Myers for 49 years; cherished son of the late Jasper and Maude Myers; devoted father of Mary (Mike) Ladd, Betty (Denny) Lambert, Donna Kruse, and the late Kathy Myers; loving grandfather of Jennifer (Jeff) Morgan, Chris Ladd, Sarah Lambert, Ben Lambert, Christel Coleman, Donald (Dana) Kruse, and the late Dale Kruse; treasured great-grandfather of thirteen; and dear brother of Janet (Wilbur) Humes, Benny (Brenda) Myers, the late Bob Myers and the late Gerry Friedrich. Wayne was also survived by his beloved pet, Josie.

Wayne was a welder in the manufacturing industry, working for Combustion Engineering and later O’Fallon Casting. He was a mason at the Bridgeton Lodge #80 and enjoyed junking as a hobby. With a smile everyone loved, Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wayne was dearly loved and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
