Huber, William B., formally of Nokomis, Illinois, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the age of 73 at his residence in O'Fallon, Missouri. Loving husband of Mary Ann Huber; dear son of the late William L. and the late Mary Elizabeth Adams Huber; devoted father of Kevin W. Huber; Karen A. (Michael) Ballmann, Kathy M. (Tim) Blattel and Kim L. (Dan) Bauer; cherished grandfather of Jim, Chris, Tim Jr., Justin, Ashley, Kaitlin, Trenton, Chelsea, Ryan, Ky and Megan; dear brother of Lucille Stokes; dearest brother-in-law, uncle, and cherished friend to many. William was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, O'Fallon American Legion Post #388, and Transportation Workers Union Local 514. William also held the rank of Major as a Reserve Police Officer in O'Fallon, was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for St. Charles County, was a Commercial Instrument rated pilot, a Civil Air Patrol pilot, and before entering into the United States Air Force he was a farmer. Memorials may be made to Masses or O'Fallon American Legion Post #388.
