William F. Kane

William (Bill) F. Kane of St. Charles, MO died Friday, April 4, 2008 at St. Joseph's Health Center. He was born March 29, 1927 to Harold and Margaret (Jess) Kane of Holyoke, Massachusetts. Mr. Kane was employed by Stanley Works Hand Tools of New Britain, Connecticut and later was owner of Bill Kane and Associates of St. Petersburg, Florida for over 25 years. He served in the Army Air Force in World War II and graduated from Phi Beta Alpha from New York University. He is survived by his son, Bob of St. Charles, his daughter, Kathy Gosselin of York Harbor, Maine, his son, Steve of Madison, Connecticut. his grandchildren Megan (Bob) Weisser of Nashville, TN, Maggie Kane of Madison, CT and Michael Kane of Madison, CT; great-grandson, Robert Weisser; his sister, Marilyn Jansen of St. Petersburg, Florida. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth and his parents. Services are scheduled for Wednesday at 7PM at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles and a burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
