William “Bill” H. Short

Short, William "Bill" H., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the age of 78. Loving husband of the late Betty Jane Short (nee: Furey); beloved son of the late Norman and Lucy Short; devoted father of Don (Kim) Short; cherished grandfather of Heather (Tim) Horstmann and Christopher (Megan) Short; treasured great-grandfather of Graham and Kennedy Horstmann, and Amelia and Ellie Short; dear brother of Sandy (John) Snook and brother in-law of Lucille (Jerry) Moreland. He is preceded in death by his sister Delores Woodworth and grandson Jeremy Short.
Bill was Past Master of Overland/Occidental Lodge. He was also former president of the Missouri Automatic Merchandising Association. He was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan. In his spare time, he restored a 1966 Mustang, and he enjoyed making model airplanes and tending to his herb garden. Most of all, Bill loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

There will be a Masonic service during the visitation on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center.
